For your consideration is an old and rare white glazed ironstone jar with double lid (porcelain and a heavy screw top pewter). The pewter lid has a mark on it and a letter “G” or “C” (see third photo). This jar measures 6 3/4 high with the handled lid. The jar has 3 holds on the bottom edge and it is marked with a number “3”. It is in pretty good antique condition with some chips and nicks around the inside edge, caused by the constant screw and unscrew of the pewter lid (see photo #5).
