Antique Art Nouveau period serving jar with cobalt glass insert. Silver plate with flowers and stylized Art Nouveau motif. No hallmarks, but guaranteed to be of that period. The cobalt insert has beveling on the top rim. Exceptional details to the entire piece. Measures 5 inches in height, not including the handle. The handle alone measures 3 1/2 inches tall. Diameter is 4 inches. In very good antique condition. Plating is very good especially for its age. Cobalt glass has no cracks or repairs. A couple of minuscule flea bites to the rim. Please excuse the light or dark reflections due to lighting source or surrounding objects. Note on condition, to the best of my ability flaws will be described in as much detail as possible but please be aware that if the item is vintage or antique it has age wear and in most cases is not in “mint” condition.
