Beatiful proportions in a heavy jar. The lid has a great lifter with a air bubble floating inside of it. Amazing for how that was done in perfect form. Use this for candy or nuts or coffe beans etc. It is a very fine piece. It came from my grandmothers house. One of the handles has been glued back on the jar and you can see some pink residue. It is not chipped other wise just that. It is strong I tried to clean it and redo not happening. I did not notice until I was getting ready to photograph funny its been in our house for 30 years.
