VICTORIAN CRANBERRY TO CLEAR CUT GLASS BISCUIT JAR w/SILVER PLATE LID & HANDLE. Lovely antique biscuit jar is clear glass at the bottom & cranberry at the top. Neck, handle & lid are silver plate. Lid features a detailed bird on top. There are initials on the neck: EPNS. See photos for details. The piece stands 8-3/4″ tall with the handle up, 8″ tall with the handle down & 6 tall without the lid. It has a base diameter of 3-3/4″ & a top opening diameter of 3-1/4″. It weighs almost 2 pounds. Some tarnish to the silver plate. Also there is a manufacturing flaw near the top of the glass (see last photo). Thank you so much for looking.
