Unusual Charming Antique 19c EAPG Glass Screw Top Lunch Jar w Handle. This is a wonderful antique estate found Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG) jar with metal handle dating to the 19th century. The unusual jar features a glass screw top. We are unsure of the precise use for this jar, but speculate on lunch or snack jar. It came from the estate of elderly antique dealer in Upstate New York. In overall very good condition with chips and flakes to the mouth rim of the jar and lid. Mild shelf wear to the underside. This condition is consistent with age and use. Measures 6″ to the top of the lid and 5 1/8″ to the top of the jar lip. The mouth diameter is 2 1/4. The maximum diameter is about 3 3/4.
