This is a vintage large glass barrel pickle jar with wood and wire bail handle and glass lid. The glass lid fits the jar good but is probably not original. I think the original lid was a metal screw on lid. Wood and wire bail handle is weathered and rusty. The jar is in overall good condition with just a few minor scratches (see pictures). This would make a good addition to your vintage decor, or use as a storage jar. The jar stands 13″ high without the lid and 7.5″ diameter at the base. The mouth of the jar is 5″ diameter and the circumference is 29″ around the middle. The capacity is 2.5 gallons. The glass is thick, and this jar weighs in at over 6lbs without the lid.
