This is an original antique glass kerosene or oil jar with tin sleeve, handle, and lid with fill cap and pour spout. The tin sleeve has windows cut out for viewing the contents inside the jar. The jar is not clean (probably has some oily residue inside) and the entire piece has acquired an aged patina. There is some damage to the lid in front of the spout (small rust holes/cracks) and there is a visible repair (weld or solder).
