This is a nice rare Biscuit Barrel. This has some age to it because the gold accent on the thumbprints is a bit faded on some of them, but the metal lid and handle are very nice and clean/shiny silver. It was probably made in the first half on the 1900’s, these are typically from the victorian period. This is made of green glass pressed in a diamond optic pattern with thumbprints. Measures: Jar is 6-1/2″ tall, 8-1/4″ Tall with finial on lid, w/ handle up it is 10-1/2 tall.. This is in good pre-owned/vintage condition for & ready to be used or displayed. No chips or cracks. Minor fading on some of the gold accent dots. Please note Pressed, molded or blown Glass has imperfections from the manufacturing process. These imperfections are inherited by production and not considered damage. However Any large imperfections that look real bad will be noted as major defects of course, but minor imperfections that often occur such as: color variations, creases/lines from molds, tiny air bubbles or small debris encased in glass is natural as not going to be scrutinized or considered damage.
