A beautiful antique jar, made circa 1880s. It features a classic Art Nouveau design. The glass is ribbed, and sits perfectly inside a wire caddy. The wire bars of the caddy hug the ribs of the glass, curving gently at the top to finish at the ends with a shiny metal ball. It sits on 3 little ball feet. The top is furnished with a pewter rim with double handles. There are intricate patterns pressed into the pewter, including scallop shells, leaves and swirls. Complete with original lid with pewter finial. In excellent vintage condition, some light signs of age. No cracks or chips. 18 cm tall, including handles. A rare and wonderful piece of antique decor.
