Hard to find them in this great condition. This Beautiful Victorian biscuit jar is made of satin glass, that transitions from light blue at the top to white at the bottom. It has a silver plate lid and handle. It’s beautifully hand painted with pink roses, green foliage and white enamel accents. It’s marked, under the lid, with the name of the maker Van Bergh Silver Plate Co. Of Rochester NY, and it has the number 3105. The paint is in remarkable condition for its age, with little or no paint loss. The lid has some tarnish. It’s very clean in the inside. It measures approximately 9″ in height, with the lid on, and 4.5″ in diameter across the top.
