It also has its original quadruple silver-plated lid and handle. The interior of the cover is stamped with: VANBERCH SILVERPLATE CO. QUADRUPLE PLATE ROCHESTER, N. This stands approximately 8 1/2″ high with the handle folded down and the lid on and 6″ high without the lid the mouth silver band is 4″ on the outside and the base of the lid is 3 1/2″ and sits snuggly into the silver mouth strap. The jar base is 4 wide on the outside. A quality, clean example for your collection Very nice condition with nominal IF ANY paint wear, tarnish to the lid and handle.
