Here is a rare piece of vintage Fenton Glass which I have never seen before. This is an extraordinary piece when seen in person!! Fenton produced these Biscuit or Macaroon Jars mainly in the 1920’s and early 1930’s. This etched pattern with Moose and Deer however, is rare, and I have not seen this pattern before. It is an extremely detailed etched scenic design! This jar is also known as the Big Cookies jar. It is about 7 and 1/2″ high to the top of the finial on the lid (this height does not include the wicker handle height) and is about 5 and 1/2″ diameter. This jar is complete with its original lid AND original wicker handle! There are no markings on the base (see photo of the bottom and the lid). It is in EXCELLENT original condition. I find only one very tiny pin prick at the inside rim of the jar and a couple of manufacturing straw marks inside the jar thus, insignificant. It appears that this may have been unused! This is a heavy glass jar and very unique. This would surely be an unusual piece to add to your Fenton or vintage kitchenware collection. Please see photo’s and ask any questions you may have.
