SUPER RARE Vintage Hazel Atlas TRANSPARENT RED Glass Gingerbread Man Cookie Jar. Glass cookie jar with raised outlines of gingerbread men, stars and cookies. Matching lid with clear handle. Commonly attributed to Hazel Atlas. Approximately 11″ high and 7″ diameter (large size). Jar has a red transparent finish with an iridescence. I have never seen another with this type of coloring and I have been a glass collector for 20 years. It is not a hobbyist piece, as the round lid handle and bottom of jar are clear with no glaze, same as all the standard colors are. Very good vintage condition. Inside jar rim has some roughness as seen in last picture. Some very minor wear to the bottom or jar. No chips or cracks to the lid or exterior of jar.
