This is a real nice Adlam’s 1884 Patent Glass Pail jar with original tin collar & handle. It is only missing the tin lid….. PAT-GLASS-PAIL JUNE 24 84 BOSTON MASS bold emb on bottom….. Hand blown in mold…. Ground wide mouth collar….. Round bucket shape with 3 bands…. Excellent condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean jar with no haze. Original tin collar has a couple small splits and a couple rust spots, but nice overall. Original wire handle is anchored into a pair of little divets in side.
