This is an EAPG US Glass Co powder jar in the “Manhattan” pattern with a lovely flashed on ruby rose or cranberry color applied to the glass. This powder jar would have been made as part of a vanity set. This pattern was introduced by the US Glass Company in 1902. The overall condition for its age is excellent. There are minor issues in the color from both manufacturing and use over time. The lid has a spot of missing color that appears to have been missed during manufacturing. The base has one tiny spot of missing color that appears to have fallen off. There are some imperfections visible in the color on close inspection. These imperfections appear to be dust in the stain from the manufacturing process and does not take away from the beauty of this piece at all. 4 3/4 inches in diameter. 3 1/2 inches tall (to top of knob when lid is in place). Please see photos for depiction of any issues or concerns noted in the description. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
