American Brilliant Cut Jam Jar/Pot with Sterling Silver Top. Such a lovely American Brilliant Cut Jam Pot. This finely cut piece is from a local New England estate. I believe it to be Hawkes or Dorflinger. The piece has cut palms leaves, caning pattern with a starburst bottom. The cover is sterling silver and marked as such. The Sterling cover has a round silver stem and monogramed with initials. The lip of the top is marked. There is a slot to receive a spoon. One could also use this piece for sugar, relish or any condiment. Would look wonder as a bath salt container also. The piece is in fine condition, no chips or flea bites. Dim’s: 3 3/4″ tall with cover x 3″ across approx.
