Here is a very nice Tom Turner studio pottery covered jar with a ribbed form and three nub handles. Glazed with a brown over celadon green. Glaze with green dots on the lid. Wheel thrown and made of porcelain clay. It measures 6 3/8 inches high and about 5 1/4 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Signed on the bottom Tom Turner and 989 for 1989 inside the foot. Delaware / Lewis Center Ohio. An excellent piece of mid-century modern ceramics.
