This is a vintage butter churn. I believe it’s from the’20s or’30’s. It holds 4 quarts. I’ve had a number of the Dazy brand butter churns come through but this one is a little nicer. The jar is squat and square shaped, and the sides indent a little so the butter can form in the corners. This makes it the entire thing more stable when in use. It also has 2 wood handles rather than the usual one on the crank handle. The second wood handle is on top where you hold it all steady while you crank, which is much nicer than grabbing a metal bar to hold. Both handles are a dark blue color.
