Approximately 6″ diameter across bulge, 3 1/4″ lid opening, 4 base diameter. Victorian style counter jar for storing tea biscuits and crackers. Opaque milk glass with metal collar, lid and handle hardware. Lid features smooth single bevel surface and ornate finial of crowns and scrolls. Beautiful hand-painted artwork featuring pink roses blooming on leafy vines. Unmarked; actual age, origin and maker uncertain. In very good condition with no visible signs of damage or repair.
