The milk glass is dirty. Has what appears to be the original (or at least old) fibers round the mouth for keeping the lid tight. Has a nice patina. For your consideration is this Victorian-era white milk glass with metal lid honey pot. The white ribbed-style glass features hand-painted little blue flowers with yellow stamen and reddish-brown vining. The metal lid (perhaps pewter) has a handle and the lid opens for ease of taking the spoon in and out (spoon NOT included). The lid has an opening for the spoon’s handle to poke through. The handle of this lid has a tiny pressed pattern, and is firmly attached to the lid. The lid is not attached to the glass jar. The rim has flea bites from the metal lid being put on/off over the years.
