Here is a very unique antique piece – it’s a barrel shaped pickle jar with a screw on tin lid. This jar is in excellent shape with not even a small chip anywhere. The lid and handle are both in great shape – the handle is wood. There are no identifying markings on this jug other than a round protrusion right in the center of one side – see photos for details. It holds 10 quarts of liquid, measures 13″ tall (16″ tall with the handle all the way up) and is pretty heavy weighing 3 lbs. So it’s pretty rare that the lid is still with the jar and both the lid and jar are in great shape.
