Antique VICTORIAN PINK SATIN GLASS SILVERPLATE HANDLE Cracker Biscuit Cookie Jar. Gorgeous antique biscuit canister in lovely pink satin glass, fading from dark pink at top down to white at the bottom. Washington/Pairpoint or New England Glass. Hand-painted floral scene and silver-plated lid & handle, although there are no markings on the metal, I believe it to be silverplate. It is in excellent vintage condition as there are no cracks, chips, crazing or visible damage of any kind. It may just need a bit of cleaning. I did not clean/wash it as I didi not want to damage the beautiful hand-painting. The cap/lid has a very faint letter “B” engraved on it, most likely the original family last name initial. The monogram is faint as stated above and is not noticeable to the casual observer. The screw/bolt which attaches the knob to the lid was replaced at some point in it’s history and is the only part not original to the piece. Measures 9″ tall to top of handle and 6″ tall to top of canister (handle swings down). 4.5″ wide at the bottom and measures 15.5″ around the center in circumference. International in 10 days.
