Wavecrest Biscuit or Cracker Jar. Presented for your consideration is this beautiful Wavecrest biscuit or cracker jar. The jar is made of milk glass with a blue and brown floral design on the front and back. White enameled beads are on the blue flowers. Beautiful, intricate detailing is displayed throughout the design. Base of the jar has a wavy pattern in the center of each side and at each corner. Jar is completed with a silverplated rim, handle and lid. The handle has a twisted design while a ribbed design is around the top of the lid. Lid is completed with an ornate embellishment. Made by Wavecrest even though it is unmarked/unsigned. This gorgeous jar would make a great addition to any art glass collection! Great for every day use! Some light discoloration is around the top of the jar where the rim meets the base. A small surface chip is on the back, near the bottom edge. Lid has a slight bend in the bottom rim and two small dents are in the top of the lid. Light cosmetic wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition.
