Fancy Candy Fruit Jar Original Flint Glass Threaded Lid Quart Bale Handle c1900. We dug this out of the basement of an 1840s built historic home in Ft Wayne, IN. We believe it to be definitly pre-1915 and closer to 1880. The lip was ground and there are surface chips along the lip. Handle appears to be original and lid is in great condition with a swirl pattern. The size of the body is probably a quart–but check the measurements to be certain.
