Beautifully cut glass antique water or milk pitcher with silver plated rim and handle. Glass condition is perfect with cut panels around the shoulder diamonds, oblong cuts below, and intricately cut diamonds each divided into four smaller diamonds to a oblong smooth cut pattern and star burst on base. Condition is great and silver plating top and handle at the bottom is not connected to the cut glass has age patina on it This pitcher has clearly been in use in on someone’s breakfast or dinner table around the turn of the 19th century. The silver plated handle is detailed and the plate around the top has a beautiful detailed raised etching and the handle has a graceful curve down the side of the glass. The pitcher is about 10 1/2″ tall 8 1/2″ deep and the body is 6 wide. Although it is a superior example of glass from the American Brilliant period, maker is unknown.
