Hello, for sale a beautiful antiques 1870’s French blown glass biscuit jar. Superb and attractive jar from Napoleon III era designed in typical for the period pattern. Metal gild pewter mount on top, lid and handle, richly ornate with baroque rocaille and scroll motifs. Featuring cranberry red blow glass body decorated with enamel and gold painted flowers. It is excellent preserved for its age. The glass without chips or cracks, minor scratches on bottom that only contribute the age and authenticity. Metal parts with partially loose of gold tone and the lid with traces of old professional repair, no missing parts or cracks. Please, see all photos to be sure what I’m offering.
