Based on the information I can find online and from antique groups on Facebook, it appears to be a genuine original Dazey’s vs one of the reproductions based on the following information. Center gear has wedge-shaped holes (new ones have circular holes). Bottom has raised circular mark on bottom and the numbers 4-561 (new ones have nothing). Horseshoe Logo on front. Louis USA on bottom of logo (new ones have nothing or random illegible letters). 3 Qt molded onto glass near top of container (new ones do not have). “34B” on the top of the handle near gear (nothing on new ones). Large gear has molded, raised letters”34C” (I think) on it (nothing on new ones). #2 impressed on one side where the gear joins the lid. Molded daisy on metal part near gear.
