Dazey Butter Churns are amazing and this #40 is no exception. Found at a recent local estate sale, this one functions really well. It’s 4 quart embossed glass bottle is in great shape and the gears & paddles rotate smoothly. The bottle embossed lettering reads-‘Dazey Churn & Mfg. St, Louis, USA, Made in America. Dimensions for the glass jar is 9-1/4″ tall X 5-1/2″ square base while the total height with the churn mechanism top is 14″ x 8-1/2″ width including handle and 4-3/8 jar mouth opening diameter. Total weight is 6 pounds 11.8 ounces. Condition is very good, although there is oxidation on the metal parts and there is a tiny chip on the glass rim as pictured. Please closely check the photos for the condition of this wonderful old Dazey Churn.
